Motorcycle doesn't leave until I'm paid in full. I believe its in exceptional condition for the age and hard to find one nicer. Everything on the bike works as it should including the electric start and the horn. Mileage may change as i still ride it around town now and then.

Included in the price is most of another katana 1100f (a 1991 model) which shares almost 100% of its parts. I have been riding it most of the season but I need to get something a bit more suited for longer trips. Once out of second, the bike shifts like a champ as it pulls you along for one hell of a thrill ride. I have had it looked at and have been told the second gear needs new shift forks. The other issue is the second gear under moderate to heavy pull on the throttle it seems to be catching on itself and hiccuping a bit. It has a hard time idling but once you are moving it pulls like the day it was built. The carbs are in perfect working order except the idle circuit seems to be clogged up. Bike has a couple little imperfections but it has never been laid down or crashed. Carbs, exhaust, airbox, and everything else is 100% stock other than the jets (Stage 1 Dynojet). I have spent a lot of time restoring this bike to where it is now but it is not yet finished. The bike is painted a burgundy blood red with silver stickers. This kind of animal is for an experienced rider. This bike has gobs of power and at one point it was considered one of the fastest production bikes in the world. It feels more like a well-behaved streetbike. As a result of the well-behaving engine and the heavier touring friendly chassis the GSX1100F doesn't feel like a factory racer. A great running older bike, fully serviced and ready to ride. Note the paint is faided on the top side of the tank. GSX1100F was among the fastest bikes in the world at the time, if not the fastest.This one has spent some time in the sun. The fine aerodynamics of the GSF1100F and the 136 hp engine gave the bike very good top speed.
